Technical notebook of an active lab

    Zero101OSINT

Independent operational security lab · OSINT · UAS

    Spain · Barcelona

Independent lab with nearly four decades of operational security in Spain. The work began in 1987 on the street and in the chain of command; it is still active today from a hybrid position between security direction, OSINT analysis and applied technologies. Zero101OSINT is the technical notebook: a space where only what has been walked, cross-checked or honestly reasoned gets published.

    What is behind this

We are not a consultancy, not an agency, not a large team. Zero101OSINT is an individual lab with a long operational record, which over the last few years has gradually integrated digital tooling — OSINT, applied AI, unmanned systems, cybersecurity — into the same work it was already doing: observing, verifying, documenting and protecting.

The technological transition is not a career pivot. It is the natural consequence of three decades reading context, accesses, people and environments. The tools change; the method — observation first, hypothesis last — does not.

Zero101OSINT exists as a sober editorial space. It does not sell smoke, does not promise absolute certainty and does not pretend to be a large structure. What is published here has first passed through direct experience, professional judgment and review.

    03

    Areas of work

Six domains that overlap and feed each other. Not standalone services: the same craft seen from different angles.

    01

    Operational security

Security direction and command, details, access control, protection of persons and infrastructure. The base everything else sits on.

    02

    OSINT

Open-source intelligence applied to due diligence, executive digital exposure, third-party verification and reputational analysis.

    03

    UAS / Drones

Unmanned systems for reconnaissance, perimeters, critical infrastructure and events. Pilot credentials A1/A2/A3/STS.

    04

    Applied cybersecurity

Technical reading of incidents and exposure surfaces from the perspective of a security director, not a pentester.

    05

    Web & social media management

Design, maintenance and editorial control of corporate digital presence. Message coherence, public-footprint hygiene and continuous monitoring of own narrative against external one.

    06

    Artificial Intelligence

Disciplined integration of generative and analytical models into the workflow: faster reading, document cross-checking and automation of repetitive tasks. The tool never replaces human judgment or verification.

    04

    Specialties

Nine concrete work lines where the same method applies: observation, verification, hypothesis, documentation. Each specialty rests on real credentials and years on the field, not on imported catalogs.

    01

    OSINT due diligence

Third-party, partner and supplier verification via public sources. Document cross-checks, corporate registries, digital footprint and reputational traceability.

    02

    Executive digital exposure

Personal footprint analysis, attack surfaces, historical leaks and indirect exposure through family and entourage.

    03

    Reputational risk analysis

Online narrative monitoring, early detection of hostile campaigns and impact assessment on corporate brand.

    04

    Critical infrastructure security

Airports, ports, hospitals, logistics and energy hubs. Detail design, access control and procedural audit.

    05

    UAS reconnaissance

Use of drones for perimeter reconnaissance, infrastructure inspection, event details and aerial verification of operational scenarios.

    06

    AVSEC · Airport security

Access control, passenger and cargo screening, civil aviation protection. AVSEC C1 and C2 certifications.

    07

    Lateral intelligence

Cross-reading of OSINT signals, terrain and weak signals to anticipate incidents before they materialize.

    08

    AI applied to analysis

Disciplined integration of generative models as reading accelerator, document cross-check and automation, with mandatory human verification.

    09

    Executive cybersecurity

Technical reading of incidents and exposure surfaces from the security director's role, not the pentester's.

    05

    Editorial principles

Internal rules of this notebook. They apply to every article, case and analysis published.

    • 01Observation first. Verification next. Hypothesis last.
    • 02Only what can be cross-checked or honestly reasoned is published. If something is unknown, it is said.
    • 03Real cases anonymized. Clients, locations and sensitive data are never exposed.
    • 04Technology as a tool, not a replacement for professional judgment.
    • 05No motivational tone, no inflated commercial promises, no vanity metrics.

    Work with the lab

A limited number of engagements are accepted per year. No aggressive packages, no artificial scaling. Each case is evaluated individually and, if it doesn't fit, that is said clearly.
